Fraser completed his articles at Lypkie Henderson and gained exposure to all the firm’s core practice areas. Since being called to the bar in 2016, Fraser has focused his practice exclusively in the field of Wills and Estates. He advises clients daily on estate planning, estate administration, and estate-related disputes.
Fraser has extensive experience in estate administration matters, including acting as a private executor and guiding families through all stages of the administration process. He has prepared and obtained a significant volume of probate and grant of administration applications and regularly advises on complex administration issues. His practice includes higher-value estate planning and administration matters, where careful structuring, tax awareness, and practical guidance are essential to protecting wealth and ensuring smooth transitions between generations.
As an avid student, Fraser was drawn to further education upon leaving law school. He completed the courses necessary to become a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and continues to seek further specialized training in the Wills and Estates field. Fraser has also had the privilege of presenting on estate planning and estate administration matters for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and Cambridge Forums.
Fraser aims to communicate complex legal concepts in simple and straightforward language. He encourages clients to ask questions and is committed to guiding them through important and often sensitive legal decisions with clarity and confidence.
In his free time, Fraser is busy running after his four children along with his wife, Camille. When time permits, he trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, tends his vegetable garden, and plays board games with his lifelong friends.
